Is my code used for training?

No. Customer code and quack content are never used to train shared models. Pond Enterprise customers can additionally bring their own model endpoint.

How is this different from ChatGPT or Copilot?

Quackstack is opinionated about the Socratic style. It asks one good question instead of dumping a code block. It also refuses to write your tests for you — by design.

What languages does the duck understand?

40+ ecosystems including TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, Go, Rust, Java, Kotlin, Ruby, PHP, C#, Swift, Elixir, and more.

Can I run Quackstack offline?

Pond Enterprise can deploy fully air-gapped with a self-hosted model. Hatchling and Flock require an internet connection.

What's the latency?

Median time-to-first-quack is ~300ms. Full responses stream as tokens become available.

Does the duck have feelings?

Officially, no. Unofficially, it sighs in JSON when it sees any types.
